PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN FIGHTING CANCER BY PROVIDING CARE KITS AND SUPPORT SERVICES.

We are serving the poor in Venezuela and in India. Although the Venezuelan part of our work was closed in August, 2022, until then we were shipping food, baby formula and childcare products into Venezuela, where 3 volunteer groups were receiving the items and distributing them to the poor, focusing on malnourished children and the elderly. We did large feedings in public areas, feeding nutritious meals to 400 people each week. We also ran a school there for 6 months. In Rishikesh, India, we feed a nutritious meal to 250 people each day, and distribute large bags of basic groceries to widows and other women in need. We also run a school we created for poor girls, "Shakti School of Arts for Girls", where classes in English, the arts, yoga and basic computer skills are given for free. Uniforms, medical checkups and 2 nutritious meals a day are also included. We are also provide ongoing medical support for a woman in Venezuela cancer, and are supporting an elderly couple in Rishikesh.

The immediate need to pivot to virtual world exposed the sad fact that black boys were overwhelmingly on the wrong side of the digital divide. Widespread civil unrest, growing racial tensions and inherent systemic inadequacies created perfect storm to widen the almost insurmountable gap in education, mental health, and financial literacy. (ADO) is not your traditional nonprofit. This organization was designed to thrive in virtual environment but built to easily transition as things normalize.
