RAISE FUNDS FOR VAL VERDE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER.

TO AID THE ORGANIZATION IN PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH CARE FIELDS; TO PROVIDE A VENUE FOR PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS SERVICES TO HOSPITAL PATIENTS

TO SUPPORT THE ENDEAVORS OF THE PALO PINTO GENERAL HOSPITAL AND PALO PINTO COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT IN THE HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.

TO PROVIDE COLLEGIATE SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO QUALIFIED RECIPIENTS AT VARIOUS UNIVERSITIES AND FUNDS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WHICH UTILIZE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FUNDS TO ACHIEVE COMMUNITY IMPACT IN DALLAS COUNTY WITHIN THE AREAS OF HEALTH, EDUCATION, CIVIC AND CULTURAL ARTS AND WELFARE.

The purpose or purposes of James Bowie Elementary PTA, in common with National PTA and Texas PTA, are: A. to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community; B. to raise the standards of home life; C. to advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth; D. to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth; E. to engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children and youth; and F. to advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.
